We’re happy to announce that from here on out, we’ll be hosting prisoner letter writing nights at Casa Mariposa on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month. Well, every month until this prison society burns.
Come out to the first regular night on March 17th, at 7PM, at Casa Mariposa, 127 N. Palomas Ave. This time we especially encourage folks to write support letters for Sekou Kambui as he prepares for an upcoming parole hearing.
For more information on this campaign, see http://nycabc.wordpress.com/2014/03/06/letter-writing-campaign-for-sekou-kambui/.
As usual, we’ll also have addresses for other folks doing time, including a number of queer prisoners in Arizona. All letter writing supplies and postage will be provided.
On another note, we added some “points of unity” in our About section. These are mostly meant for people who might interested in working with us to be able to get an idea of where we’re coming from and what we’d like to be doing as a collective. Check them out, and get in touch if you’re interested!
